There are lots of exciting opportunities for our pupils to perform - at pop-up events, outreach programmes, local fairs, competitions and biennial shows. It is an important component of what we offer and as well as being great fun builds confidence and camaraderie.

In addition parents are invited to watch their child’s class twice a year (in the Autumn and Summer term) and there is a short performance at the end of all our holiday workshops and summer schools.

Pupils are invited to enter various competitions both externally and internally. The London Regional Awards and the Dance Challenge Competition are both held at the Royal Academy of Dance’s HQ - past pupils have come away triumphant winning the Musicality Award, Choreographic Award, Sallie Lewis Award and Overall Winner. We also hold an annual Choreography Competition which is open to all pupils in Grade 1 and above.

The Ballet School London is regularly invited to take part in the Royal Academy of Dance’s pop-up performances. These are held in a range of venues across London and bring together a variety of RAD affiliated performers in one-off events which are open to members of the public free of charge.
